Possession of Drugs Arrest

Vaalpark – 2 August 2022, 19:00

Public Eye received a message from a member of the public who informed us that there were a group of people at the Caltex Garage who approached them and asked where they could acquire drugs. PE Patroller Hannes responded to assess the situation and found that there were 2 whiskey women and 2 whiskey men at the location. The people were asked to leave the area but did not want to cooperate with the request.

Public Eye’s Ruan, Pottie and Andries then requested assistance from Captain Meyer and Cst Botha from SAPS to assist.

The 4 individuals were then searched and drugs were found on 1 of them, leading to the arrest of the individual and the other 3 left the area. Public Eye will monitor their return.
